Come down this Saturday, October 31st, to the Haverhill Farmers' Market and enter your pumpkin the pumpkin decorating contest. Judging will take place at 1:00 pm, and winners in 3 age categories 1-8, 9-15, 16+ will each receive a prize! Please drop-off your pumpkin before 12:00 (as early as you can) so people can enjoy them while shopping at the market!
Palm reading and fortune telling will be available during market hours ($5 for a 5 minute reading). It is the last market day of the year, so be sure to stock up on onions, squashes, eggs, honey, maple syrup, fall decorations, pumpkins, apples and cider.
If you are a dog lover, be sure to check out the homemade dog treats, dog-themed note cards and stocking stuffers for your furry friend.

Non-profit Organization: The Haverhill Garden Club will be selling bulbs just in time to get them into the ground for next spring. The Garden Club helps keep the city beautiful by maintaining several garden sites throughout the city. Stop by their table if you are interested in becoming a member.

The market is open from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Bailey Blvd alongside GAR Park (see map). Cars can be parked in legal spaces on either side of Bailey Blvd, although some spaces alongside GAR Park will be occupied by the vendors. The market opens rain or shine, although some vendors, entertainers, and organizations may have to cancel if it rains.

Bloomfest and community gardens at the Haverhill Farmers' Market this Saturday, October 17th
We had a great Harvest Festival last Saturday, with live music, face painting, and fascinating locally mined rocks and gems. See some photos here. Join us again this Saturday, October 17th, at the Haverhill Farmers' Market. In addition to fresh local food and local crafts, Haverhill Brightside will promote Bloomfest, and The Vine will be there to talk about community gardens. This is the kind of growth a sustainable Haverhill needs!
